AMY, aka "Crazy Amy"

Amy migrated to the South Bay in October of 2003 and is loving life with her Vespa ET4, which was a suprise gift from her boyfriend, Mikell, when she got her dream job here in LA. (doing sales ops and marketing for Nagravision, a Swiss company that does security for pay TV). Story there was that Amy had always dreamt of owning a Vespa, so when she got the call on being hired for her new job, Mikell rushed around the rest of the day to get to the credit union and to the vespa shop so that it would be in the garage when she got home from her temp job. She was sent down to the garage to put away some things and there was her new Vespa, all decked out in balloons and ribbons...! Mikell is and always has been into motorcycling so this gives the two of them a way to ride together.

Amy was born in Hawaii...navy brat...and has lived all over the US. She loves to travel and experience new cultures.

Her nickname is Crazy Amy and even used to race downhill mountain bikes under Crazy Amy Racing. There were two Amy's on the team, and no sponsorships, but the requirement was the achievement of broken bones while riding some ugly downhill. Amy retired due to too many injuries.

Amy's hobbies range from gardening, cooking, camping, mountain biking, and painting. She says she "suffers from a short attention span so I pick up lots of things along the way". One thing is for sure: she makes a killer cream cheese and chutney dip (as evidenced at 2005's South Bay X-Mas Ride & Party).
