25th ANNIVERSARY SECRET SOCIETY SCOOTER CLUB SAN DIEGO – AUGUST 29-31, 2008

San Diego, CA

The oldest active Scooter club in North America is celebrating it’s 25th year in 2008! Come join Secret Society Scooter club San Diego on Sunday August 31st for rides and a night at the CASBAH!

THE WHO SHOW plays the HERMOSA FAIR – LABOR DAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2008

The Who tribute band, the WHO SHOW, will be performing at the Hermosa Beach Art and Crafts Fair Fiesta on Labor Day, September 1st. This will be at the end of Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, CA. Everything you want from a street fair, plus the Who Show!

7th ANNUAL OAK GLENN APPLE RIDE RIDE – NOVEMBER 7, 2008

Riverside, CA

The Stingers SC are throwing their 7th annual Oak Glenn Apple Ride Rally.

Friday November 7th:
8pm: Meet and Greet at the Royal Falconer, 4281 Main St., Riverside, CA. Ride leaves at 9:00pm for a tour of Downtown Riverside.

Saturday November 8th:
9:30am: Meet at the Royal Falconer, 4281 Main St., Riverside, CA. Tons of parking in the Jury parking lot. (not used on weekends). We'll be meeting early at our local greasy spoon, Mr. T's, which is on the corner of Main St and 13th St. (Across the street from the Royal Falconer). Ride leaves at 11:00am. Any later than that and we'll be riding back from Oak Glen in the dark.

We will be doing our annual NEW YEAR'S BEACH RIDE on January 3, 2009. We'll take pics of us and our scooters in the sunshine, next to the beach, so we can e-mail them to everyone stuck in the ice back east. Afterwards, we'll eat at Beaches restaurant, right next to the pier in Manhattan Beach.
